Fahime, a 19 year old girl from Iran, arrived alone in one of our shelters four years ago. She has been one of exemplary successes of our child protection model. Under our care she has received a holistic network of child protection services including education and has been granted a full-time student scholarship at ACS Athens (American Community Schools) from where she will graduate this spring. In the past, Fahime had a dream to become a dentist. Today, as a young adult and a final year student, she wants to study international relations in the US, in order to be able to work in an international organization and help girls with similar stories.
