We are happy to announce that Per Heggenes, former CEO of the IKEA Foundation and Chairman of our Advisory Board for the past four years, has been appointed as the new Chairman of The HOME Project Board of Directors.
Mr. Heggenes has been an invaluable advocate and ambassador for the organization's mission to empower unaccompanied refugee children, helping them persevere and grow into active citizens. With his support, The HOME Project has provided more than 1,200 lone children with a holistic network of child protection services, a safe home, and equal access to opportunities, enabling them to build a future for themselves. We look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role.
